Good News and Bad News

Well, as the title says it... there is indeed some good news and bad news I must deliver to my fans (followers, admirers, lovers... whatever). I'm not dying nor am I taking a hiatus. In fact, I have more time than ever to post regularly to this blog and show my love of games! Lately I haven't touched any new titles this year, as I am still working on older ones.

No reviews as of yet for Dead Space 2, BUT I have just (seriously this just happened like a minute ago) gotten my hands on LittleBigPlanet 2!!! So HOPEFULLY there will be a review soon as I am working on Red Dead Redemption and only a few hours into the game's main storyline.

The bad news... I have taken off school for a semester to ponder "why am I wasting my time and money" without a real direction? I need time to think about if I should pursue a career in journalism as planned or move onto another route. I have been taking classes in CC and... did not do very well last semester due to scheduling problems which ultimately puts me behind another year should I continue education. So as of this moment, I am vying for a position at GameStop and working until I can come up with a life changing answer.

A Realization of the Self...

I took a long look at my gaming collection the other day and thought “Self, you haven’t beaten some of these and a select few you have yet to START. All those new titles are coming out this year, most of them sequels… something has got to be done.”

So I am going to do my BEST to finish some of the older games I have in my collection, stock up on titles I always thought interesting but was too broke to buy at the time, and we’ll see how it goes from there. If anyone has any suggestions or just wants to say “kewl list”, you know where to put ‘em (in the comment section, DOI).

* Be reminded that some of these titles I do not even OWN yet, so they will not be on my "finished" list for awhile... or until I have a chance to get them.

My first review of 2011 will be either LittleBigPlanet 2 or Dead Space 2, both of which are coming out this month of January. Stayed tuned for those, they're bound to be awesome! Because face it... adorable Sackboys and Girls platforming together AND the sequel to one of the best horror games I've played in a long time.

Ringing in the New Year w/ Explosive Titles!

Happy New Year!!!

All was well on Mimi's B-Day, New Year's Eve. There was lots of Rock Banding, Castle Crashing, and SingStarring. Everything was wonderful thanks to my loving boyfriend, friends, and family. Plans were changed from ice skating and pizza to an indoor gaming party. It worked out well apparently because of all the smiling faces I had around me the entire day. The weather was odd too, fifty degrees with rain. Maybe the act of a higher power to see if certain people would even show up? In all, the new year has started off excellently without much trouble or drama. I wish for it to stay that way until 2012.

Now we get down to business, as promised I would begin blogging about what's important. GAMES. Lots and lots of them alongside anime, manga, and Anime Central 2011. I've compiled a list of games for this year that I personally would love to pick up and play, with room for more titles as they come along.

Question of the Week: What titles are YOU gonna pick up this year? Anything and everything under the gaming sun can be included, old and new! Mimi Out! =^_^=
