'Tis The Season for Insomnia!

As you can tell by the date, today is a big day. Christmas time! That time of year when families get together for the holiday, share food, humorous stories, and endless amounts of egg-nog that make the weird uncle tipsy. Awesome yes?

No game reviews or news today, BUT I am proud to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone! Hopefully we all get what we wanted under the tree! It's 7AM in Chicago right now. Eerily quiet with just me, mom, bro, and my Cordy A.KA. Sleeping Worm on the floor next to my bed. We're technically waiting on my other brother who went out last night, but since I have gotten VERY little sleep in anticipation of what new games I may be playing today I feel like getting the tearing of carefully wrapped paper out the way. What joy!

Next Friday IS my birthday, the big 2.0 and will also not have any game reviews or comments as it is a weekend-long celebration for me. With the start of the new year will come everything I promised in my first post, for now, let's just enjoy the last few days of 2010.

=^_^= Mimi, Signing off!

It Begins...

Welcome to the official “Ask Mimi” blog by yours truly! I’m going to take the time out of my schedule (which isn’t really that full to begin with) and post my P.O.V of the latest video game news and what YOU as a gamer/future gamer may need or want to know. I’ll say it NOW that most of my news comes from Kotaku, Gamer4Eva, Game Informer, IGN, and GameSpot.

I buy all my games new/used at GameStop and search high and low for privately owned game shops which is a damn brave feat considering I live in a big city that is pretty mainstream. I will GIVE credit to whatever sources I may use, but my own personal opinions and thoughts are mine. They BELONG to me and my crazy brain.

That being said, on my YouTube channel AskBizzie, I will take questions there on video games, anime, manga, comics, and even film. I would go into TV, but that is where I’m the most biased and would rather not have to go there. Questions can be submitted to my email geekchicgoddess@gmail.com. Spam will be destroyed along with the human (pronounced hum-men) that sent it.

So for my first “Question of the Week”, which is going to be a normal thing here on my blog, I want to know what is in YOUR opinion the Game of the Year for 2010?
